MIDS
have invested in the latest technology, computers and networking,
scanning software and high volume document scanners. These
advances enable us to provide our clients with an efficient
service at a fair price.
Our
bureau provides a service for the conversion of paper
and electronic based records of
all shapes, sizes and quantities for storage on CD,
Optical Disc, DVD or
media of your choice and microfilm, even the Internet from
our Web server.
As
a company, we still believe in the value of microfilm, where
many others have moved to imaging solutions only. All microfilm
formats are provided, 16mm roll film, jackets, 35mm roll film
and aperture cards, together with film processing and duplication.
Paper
is bulky to store, time consuming to retrieve, cumbersome
to distribute and can only be accessed by a single user. Modern
business demands instant access to information, information
that can be shared, distributed and accessed by a multitude
of users. These factors combined with the relentless pressure
to reduce operating costs led to the development of Imaging
Solutions.
Using
Imaging or Microfilm technology, we will provide you with
a solution that not only removes the problems associated with
document storage and retrieval, but also provides your business
with benefits and reduced overheads.
Our
bureau scanning service complies with BSI Disc PD0008 "Code
of Practise for Legal Admissibility of Information Stored
on Electronic Document Management Systems".
This
code of practice details the standards companies must conform
to in all aspects of the imaging process. As a
result of this our electronically imaged documents can be
found easily, reproduced clearly and more importantly are
legally admissible in a court of law if required.
Since January 2004 BSI ISO
9001:2000 has been held in support of the business process
as a commitment to the quality and level of service we provide
our clients.
We
understand the security when dealing with all company documents,
therefore all documentation is handled securely and confidentially,
from collection to the final paperwork destruction.
